US 6,766,817 ‘Fluid conduction utilizing a reversible unsaturated siphon with Tubarc porosity action’ Jul 27, 2004 by Elson Silva assigned to Tubarc Technologies, LLC.

Under the IDS 37 CFR § 1.56 (d) I request you to refer “Silva, 2004 US 6,766,817” to the USPTO so that it can be used as reference in the examining process of the following Patent Application below:

US 2007-0197937 A1 ‘Microfluid system and method for production thereof’ Aug 23, 2007 by Hagendorn Emad Sarofim assigned to Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc.

US pat. 6,766,817 reveal new conceptions in Hydrodynamics dealing with a spatial geometry for advanced fluid conduction by unsaturated Hydraulic Flow based on understanding standing on textbooks more than a century in Soil Physics and Hydrogeology.

US pat. 6,766,817 is the first one to mention the expression ‘Unsaturated Hydraulic Flow’ in the patenting system even it was mentioned by Edgard Buckingham in 1902 when he proposed an equation to handle unsaturated flow.

In case there is any interest US 6,766,817 is available for licensing.
